Cruise

From Barcelona Sants station to the cruise port

Many cruise passengers reach Barcelona by high-speed train from Madrid, Valencia or France and arrive at Sants on embarkation day. The port is only about 7 km away, but with suitcases and a fixed boarding window the details matter.

Which terminal?

Barcelona’s cruise ships use the terminals of the Adossat Wharf and the World Trade Center; your cruise line tells you which one in your boarding documents. From the WTC terminal the bottom of La Rambla is a short walk, but the Adossat terminals are far along a port road, so on foot with suitcases is not an option. See the cruise port guide and the Port de Barcelona terminal list.

Timing on embarkation day

A car from the platform to the ship

With suitcases, children or a group, a car from Sants to your terminal avoids the metro stairs and the change to the cruise bus. QuickPickups, which publishes this guide, sells private transfers between Sants and the cruise port at a fixed price agreed when you book; its booking box is marked on this page.
