Who publishes this guide
City Guide BCN is published by QUICKPICKUPS S.L., a company based in Barcelona that operates licensed private transfers to and from the airport, the cruise port, train stations and destinations across Catalonia.
We are not neutral in the sense of having no commercial interest: we sell private transfers, and some pages include a clearly marked booking box for our service. We say so at the top of every page, in the footer and here.
Why we write it
Every day our drivers and our office answer the same questions from visitors: which terminal, which train, how long to the port, whether it is worth taking the metro with a suitcase. This guide collects those answers in one place, so that anyone can plan their trip, whether or not they ever book with us.
Editorial policy
These are the rules we follow on every page:
- Facts are checked against official sources, such as Aena, TMB, Rodalies de Catalunya, the AMB and the Port de Barcelona, and every article shows the date it was last reviewed.
- We do not publish fares or timetables until we have checked them at the source. Where we have not, we link to the official page instead.
- We say when another option is better. If the metro, the train, the Aerobús or the official taxi suits your trip, we tell you.
- Booking boxes for QuickPickups are clearly labelled as such and are kept separate from the editorial text.
- No paid placements, no affiliate links and no advertising. Nobody pays to appear in this guide.
- We do not publish reviews, ratings or quotes that we cannot attribute.
Corrections
If you spot something that is out of date or wrong, please tell us at [email protected]. We review every report, correct the page where needed and update its review date.
